06/22/2010 - Denver, CO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Colorado Rockies announced today the reinstatement of closer Huston Street to the active roster.
Street, who has spent the entire season on the disabled list with right shoulder inflammation, is set to begin his second campaign with the Rockies after signing a three-year extension in the offseason.
The 26-year-old was very successful in his first season with Colorado in 2009, going 4-1 with 35 saves in 37 opportunities. He compiled a 3.06 earned run average in 64 games.
Street, who spent the first four seasons of his career in Oakland, is 25-13 for his career with a 2.91 ERA and 129 saves.
To make room on the roster, the team designated pitcher Juan Rincon for assignment.
